If I had to spend it I would just donate it, claim it on my taxes and then use the laws to circumvent the system, all the while looking like a giver and stand up human.

Once you start it carry on quite quickly. Plus any high end shops will open any time if you are to spend silly money. I bought my wife a 4k hand bag in Monaco shop on a Sunday evening after dinner. The resturant owner saw us looking and asked if we would like to have a look and call owner for us, who came down and opened up for us. When we were done several more people had arrived and tills went silly. Shame hire car got stolen and bag was in boot.
