so in user list preferences I could have Women, Other, Men. and the user list would show me all of the member women and then all of the guest women, all member Others and then all guest Others, and the Men would all be listed at the bottom with members first and then guests.
It doesn't do that now. All Members are listed first and then all Guests. Since the number of men on here are quite overwhelming everyone else it is harder for anyone interested in women to scan through all of the women with that long list of men in the way. I know I could just have it not show Men but I think that the user list preferences should work as advertised. If I want to see X over Y then I should see all of X together not separated by a huge swath of Y.
Why was this change made?
It doesn't do that now. All Members are listed first and then all Guests.
