Banter What are you a snob about?

My time. I don’t like it to be wasted, or taken advantage of. I’m particular about how I spend my time and who/what I spend it on.

Close associations. I’m choosy when it comes to who I’ll communicate with on a personal/one-one basis. Certain traits are a necessity and others a clear red flag.

I believe everyone (to some extent) should be a snob about these things.

Typically coffee, I smack anyone in the face if they try to suggest that a frappe or whatever passes for coffee when in reality it's just a coffee flavored milkshake. I like black, sometimes hot, sometimes ice cold, no cream no sugar.

Also pizza, I despise pineapple on pizza, the only thing Hawaiian about it is how much I wanna use it as a beach frisbee

I'm a coffee snob also. Instant coffee is not coffee..it has to be freshly ground, with the beans no older than a month, it has to be a 4 or 5 strength, so Ethiopian something like that. Pulled through an espresso machine, for no longer than 30 seconds getting 50mls of espresso in that time. Not loads of milk, a dash just to take the blackness away, and 2 sugars (has to be demerara).

Movies. I mean I'm not so uppity i need to refer to them as films instead of movies. But I do require a skilled director, cast, some level of uniqueness or creativity and humour. What I don't need are unnecessary explosions, fight scenes, young beautiful people cast in roles that don't fit their character, or pretty much any super hero in general.

I can relate.

I can be a snob about picking up after yourself or doing the dishes from cooking right after cooking finished....I mean why leave a bunch of dirty dishes for later much easier to clean while hot anyway.
