So every year, I coordinate a month long camping trip to a random location, usually within a 4 hour drive from home. I started this 19 years ago with 4 of my best friends. It was during the summer and we were all fresh out of school, no worries, no bills. We didn't take any tents, just a bunch of tarps and tools, guns, bows, fishing poles, and 3 big coolers, 2 full of beer, 1 full of ever clear jungle juice. We built our own solid shelter that kept us warm and dry for the most part. Fast forward to this year, I'm almost 37 years old, and I build off grid houses as my main source of income throughout the year, and this year some of the ladies have mentioned they don't want to be survivalists even though they had a blast. So being the softie I am... Yeah, it's pretty. They better be happy with it, lol... almost $800 per night for it, but it'll be worth it in the long run I'm sure! And it's only about a 20 minute horseback ride from where we'll have camp set up so we can all still hang out!

It's definitely worth it. Two hours is horrible and no sleep is even worse speaking from experience
