Game What are you doing right now?

Standing by on the river waiting for them to talk a jumper off the bridge. (Late update he was fugitive hiding under the bridge & is now in custody)

Hope they get them down & the help they need but can’t help but think about the economic costs. They have the only major highway that connects my state to the rest of the nation shut down, plus the river at the bridge for going on 3 hours.

Our tiny outfit is probably out $25k as we will miss our tide window for today, but there are 2 huge bulk carriers that can’t get up river to offload and 5 lobster boats waiting with us. And 6 lanes of highway traffic getting detoured onto a 2 lane road….

Don’t mean to sound uncaring or crass but damn there is a cost to this way beyond an individuals troubles.
