Avocados are good especially when you mashed them into guacamole. You never had some authentic stuff I'm sure. The key to making it taste good is salt. Some people try to just eat it without nothing but adding salt gives it a better taste. Also avocados are good for you too has a lot of good fats and fiber.

Guacamole is avocado lol so I would figure you didn't like it since you don't like avocado. My mom is from Illinois and she would tell my dad that she hated avocado etc and then she tried it because my dad being Hispanic, his family knows how to make some good stuff and she fell in love with it lol always good to try new things.
