Nobody responded to this post, which is too bad so I will reply to you in the spirit of having more conversations on the forum. I used to roleplay, but I don't really much anymore. What attracted me to people was people's literacy levels and people's interests (if we're compatible). Back a long time ago we used to have things called literacy levels, and you'd label yourself so that you didn't waste people's time (or your own) trying to find partners of similar backgrounds. I'd label myself a high level, and so I wouldn't waste my time roleplaying with somebody who was below my level because it would just be frustrating. It's too bad literacy levels don't exist anymore because it would save people's trouble trying to find partners. I liked full grammar, more than one character being introduced, more than one paragraph being typed at a time, and I was interested in full plots not just sexual based plots. And then similar interests like we'd have to both really be into whatever we're roleplaying I was never interested in playing other people's ideas just because I wanted to roleplay with somebody, and I was bored or something. We'd both come up with a plot together or we'd both be into whatever it is we'd play so it would be original and fun. I also didn't just make roleplays based around kinks because those tended to be short-lived roleplays unless I was roleplaying with a good friend and we were just shooting the breeze. I did have a lot of shorter one-off roleplays with my friends where we'd just have it around a kink or a pairing or "what if she chose him" or "what is they did this instead" but that was for good friends who I played with.
Anyways, i've never roleplayed on FCN so what i'm writing here applied more to actual writing. Where as FCN is more about finding your fantasy and like-minded partners for sex. Which is cool, but different.
