Buying a number of comics at the moment mostly marvel. Bought some manga for my daughter (danganrompa ?) and last actual book was the Dave Grohl book but haven’t read it yet
Now this one is a hard one for me and not because I dislike books as those who pay attention to what I have written about my reading habits. When Australia introduced the GST (Goods and Services Tax which is the same as a VAT ie. Value Added Tax) one of the items not previously taxed were books. Since this coincided with Penguin deciding to revamp the covers of their Classic Literature Library editions, I decided to buy up big time and have been reading from them since.
But here's one that I know my mum bought for me recently as a bit of fun and a break from my usual line. I think you'll get a chuckle from it.
The Particle Hunters - Yuval Ne'eman and Yoram Kirsch
One of the books I did get in my last and greatest book buy up prior to our GST introduction. For anyone with an interest in the ultra weird world of particle physics, this is one of the best clear and engaging tellings of the early days. See, I do read some things beyond Penguin Classics.
