Reschedule of a meeting so I don't have to fly to the states twice this week. Resulting in more family time.

Seeing a snowman family that someone had built on my walk today...the biggest one had one of his eyes (a woodchip) fallen out and it was laying on the ground in front of him so I put it back on...made me happy to help the guy out

Getting thinking of you/ get well cards in the mail. Got a religious card in the mail from our local bank people today
On a more serious note. While in my lunch hour today I to go to the pharmacy. There is a woman there that I’ve noticed for at least a half year now. Normally in passing we will say hi or if by chance she being a cashier at that time, perhaps a couple of sentences.
today I noticed it wasn’t really a good day for her. Picked up on it pretty much right away.
one thing I try to set forth on each day, regardless what happens to me, life is to hard as it is so trying to help lift another person is my goal.
this after she was a cashier. When it was my turn nobody else was in line. Looking in her eyes, again, knew today wasn’t a good day. I said, if I gave you a compliment would you take it. Whatever was going on in her voice you could hear her mumble mmmhhhmmm. With that I said.. “if nobody told you today, let me be first, you look strikingly beautiful today. You can tell you tried today more than other days. You succeeded. Beauty doesn’t go unnoticed “.
she held back everything she could to say thank you.
Walking away I looked back and said.. “smile, you look better that way”.
