Having capacity to be.
Taking a nap on the couch this morning, after all the morning meds, food and water and litter box help and stuff were done. Kind of curled up ying/yang style with my fur baby next to me, forehead to forehead. Best part of a pretty rough day.

My sick fur baby finally doing a number two, albeit with laxative help. After four days, he was very overdue. Who knew that would ever make me happy. It's weird. Also our new routine morning nap curled up together on the couch. Small blessings right now.

The doorbell ringing at an inopportune time (while helping him on the litter box), scaring my fur baby. But what made me happy was seeing walk quickly to a safe spot. It wasn't perfect, but he walked. And so realising he can, in fact still walk. Now just to figure out how to help him there.
