Completed an 11.5 mile walk this morning. My longest yet since having emergency surgery a few months back.

Today, like everytime i get in the Provence, i'm happy hearing again the loudness of rhe cicadas. You won't believe how loud they are till you are in the middle of it!

A cicada from Provence can sing at a volume of 90 to 120 decibels (dB) when it is close by.

They only "sing" when it's above 28C / 82F so they will have about 2 or 3 hours rest per night a slong as the weather forecast goes
