Having a hot shower in my place after a eternity of no hot water or heating
I had a great day at work, I have amazing friends IRL and here. I'm so fucking lucky!
Today the sun is shining. Only 50 F, so i can go for a walk at lunchtime

I got a new vinyl record I ordered online shipped to my home finally. Today was just a day for deliveries it seems, lol

Every morning when I wake up I take a moment to appreciate that I have a roof over my head and a safe place to sleep. I drink water straight from tap and have food in the fridge. I get dressed in clean(ish lol) clothes and step out into a clean and relatively safe democracy. I have free healthcare at the point of service and if I were unfortunate enough to lose my job the government would give me money until I could find a new one. That puts me in the top 5% of the world population in socioeconomic terms. I am acutely aware of the fortuitousness of my birth. That little mantra every morning is the secret of happiness...........Well, secret of my happiness at least.
