I'll do a cheeky double post because I'm interested in which version people prefer, but on this particular long weekend in Australia every January one of the national radio stations plays their Top 100 countdown of best songs from the previous year as voted by their listeners. 1998 was one of the best countdowns, and sticks with me because it features two versions of the same song both in the same year's Hottest 100 list.
