Thoughts What was the last thing on your mind?

I dont regret my decision of going non-contact with my family, but days like today sting
I read a comment somewhere/somewhen and maybe it's somehow applicable today (I'm not quoting, but it's not mine):
Happy mother's day to all those who had to be their own mother.

Also happy mother's day to the mother's who lost their child, the mothers who couldn't have children, the mothers who take/took care of other people's children.

Very well said

Whether I'll be able to install the AC units by the end of the week.

And for those who were curious, I went, had a fantastic leg/booty workout, and feel like I sweated the germs out 👍

You're just going to exacerbate inflammation and increase protein needs. ☠️

Idk, maybe. I’ve always heard if it’s mostly a head cold and not into your lungs it’s probably ok. I feel better. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And, I had steak for dinner, but could probably still use more protein. Lmk if you’ve got any ideas ;)

Virus infection = immune system taxation = higher protein demand for immune production and inflammation prepare = higher heart rate = elevated stress hormones = higher hydration needs

Micro muscle damage from resistance or endurance training = tissue repair and protein demands = elevated stress hormones = higher hydration needs

Both situations need a lot of same or conflicting resources, maybe mostly? You now have to fight two things with same resources: tissue repair and inflammation fight.
