I'm glad the gym membership works as a motivational driver for you. It really is dependant on the person but your time away from the house could easily be a walk a day and you could probably target those same muscles doing yoga or working out at home doing calisthenics and save yourself a fortune. I stand by what I said, most people are throwing money away with a gym membership and understanding your diet is a far better investment in yourself if your goal isn't to build or maintain an excessive amount of muscle relative to your genetic baseline.I have a gym membership and try to go Atleast twice a week. I find with out that I don’t really work out, there is always something else that’s needs doing around the house that is more important then my workout. I also find I push myself that little bit harder at the gym. I don’t find it a waste of time, it actually gives me the time to focus on me (something I hear from a lot of wives, mothers).
I am very active in my day to day life but there are still certain muscles that we don’t really use that often.
I think you have to find something that you enjoy doing tho. It has to be a fun part of your day, even if you don’t realise it until you are there.
I agree food is really important, and moderation is truly the key.

Like getting out mix with other people at the gym and having some me time in a way you enjoy it is like a social card in a healthy way .... not to mention allll the long walks you do take.I have a gym membership and try to go Atleast twice a week. Great work! Keep goingI do very vigorous walks every day. 30 minutes to 2 hours each day. And use a calorie counting app. I'm trying to lose like 70 more pounds, if possible. I've lost 60 pounds so far.
Great work! Keep going![]()
