I'm still searching for something i really like. My all-time favorite is bulgari black (bergamot, sandalwood, leather, jasmin). It's not produced anymore, there are only a handful of bottles sold for several hundreds of dollars online 
Afte several alternatives trials, it is currently it's terre d'hermes (cedar, grapefruit, patchouli) in the winter, or burberry brit for him in the summer (mandarine/citrus, tonka and cedar). But both are boring me already
