Disconnecting When sending images

Since the update everytime I upload an image it disconnects me for about 10 seconds. Sometimes the image sends, sometimes it doesn't.

I'm also occasionally getting messages sent through three times from every user and the fcn bot.

I'm using mobile and Google chrome

A follow up to this. If I switch to a different app or tab I immediately get disconnected. This never used to happen unless i was gone for a few minutes.
