Would you date someone who's not single and not happy?

I have a friend who is married and a good guy. However he is not happy with his wife. They tried to compromise but it just doesn't work out. She spends more time with another "friend" than him. They are together for the sake of their children. He is afraid that girls would not date him because he is married already and technically if he is cheating if dates other girls.

I am trying to tell him that it's not. Would you agree? Thoughts?

I agree. Wouldn't that hurt the kids I mean kids are not stupid. If unhappy they shouldn't be together, suck it up for the kids and show them that they don't have to stay with someone that makes them unhappy. That's just my opinion

Thanks. Its complicated. Problem is that the kid has health issues and really struggling. So they didn't want the kid to know right now. They are waiting for him to get better. In front of kid and family members She is lovely. But alone she treats him very bad
