Absolutely...honestly hardly ever in there, it usually looks like a showplace everywhere with exception of my room and my kids room. I only use the kitchen for holidays usually.

The only tank I've got has a crocodile in it, and while he poses no threat to your Yorkie, I don't think your Yorkie poses much of a threat to him either...
