Doesnt know what he's getting himself into, should he have an issue with his Chrysler
What GCs did you have? Inline 6, 5.2, 5.9?
'96 5.2, rear end blew up for no apparent reason
and '05 5.7, fucking countless problems: trans malfunction, CAS problems, rain sensor problem—had to replace windshield with the sensor multiple times, DOD stopped working, starter had to be replaced, back window gate problem, tire pressure sensors rotted to shit, other problems I can't recall.
Then I had:
'08 Wrangler—rod bearing fail
'15 Wrangler—stick shifter fell to the floor like a limp dick once and after they fixed it, it was never the same again, nasty throwout bearing noise before 10k miles
'18 Wrangler—steering loose af, couldn't even keep it straight on the road. Highway drives were always an adventure, very tiring. Replaced three steering pumps, with revised ones, some front end hardware, alignments... At least ten trips to dealer, corporate mechanic even flew in to document and acknowledge the problem... Never fixed, so I filed a lemon claim in which they made very deliberately misleading statements in arbitration to the judges and I basically got scammed.
One Wrangler that I didn't really have problems was a barebones '99. Every single thing was manual, no options, almost nothing optional to break. Loved it. (Actually dumped 2010 300S after 5,000 mikes for the 99' Wrangler lol).
I don't know whether I'm picky or Chrysler just fucking sucks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
