Moderators also don't sit glued to just one screen. They're humans, just like you are. A mod could have just returned to chat from some personal thing. Maybe they handled some mod task outside of chat and saw only one report.

Your disparagement of staff coincides well with the nature of this post, which is ironic. Mods are members of community just like you are, but they decided they want to help in keeping the community intact, so they signed up for mod.

Wtf does it even mean to "be someone" in the world of 8+ billion humans? Surely everybody can't "be someone," can they.
