You don't have to justify yourself, I respect your choice, just hold a new born baby in your harms if you can....all I say is that it's premature decision.
With all due respect, The subject is moot. The choice is made, it's non-reversible and regret is not something I will ever suffer about it. I knew at age 14 it was not for me. The passage of time and seeing others having children simply reinforced that ideal. To be brutally frank, I am too selfish to devote the time being a good parent requires. I would have ended up one of those people you look at in the supermarket and think, 'Some people should never have children.' I have plans for my life and motherhood, although I admire and respect the people who devote their lives to being the best parents they can be and raising off-spring, I have zero desire to join their ranks.
Honesty is truly a virtue and it begins with being honest with one's self. I'll quote my Mother.
To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as night follows day, thou cannot be false to any man.
