Sex Myths

You don't have to justify yourself, I respect your choice, just hold a new born baby in your harms if you can....all I say is that it's premature decision.

With all due respect, The subject is moot. The choice is made, it's non-reversible and regret is not something I will ever suffer about it. I knew at age 14 it was not for me. The passage of time and seeing others having children simply reinforced that ideal. To be brutally frank, I am too selfish to devote the time being a good parent requires. I would have ended up one of those people you look at in the supermarket and think, 'Some people should never have children.' I have plans for my life and motherhood, although I admire and respect the people who devote their lives to being the best parents they can be and raising off-spring, I have zero desire to join their ranks. :)
Honesty is truly a virtue and it begins with being honest with one's self. I'll quote my Mother.

To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as night follows day, thou cannot be false to any man.

MYTH # 5: A BIG BULGE DOES NOT MEAN A BIG PENIS

A bulge can be misleading and may not always mean a large penis. A lot of people stuff their pants to make a large bulge, other people wear extremely tight underwear to give the illusion of a bulge. Scientists have also found no correlation to flaccid penis length and erect penis length.

MYTH #6: "CHERRY POP"

Not every woman bleeds during the first time they have sex. The reason for the bleeding and also the phrase "Cherry Pop" is due to the tearing of the hymen. The hymen is not something that covers the entire vagina entrance if it did then women would not be able to insert objects such as tampons, fingers, food, toys, etc. The hymen is a membrane that surrounds or partially covers the external vaginal opening. It forms part of the vulva, or external genitalia, and is similar in structure to the vagina. The hymen could be torn from strenuous activities such as stretching. I personally had my hymen tore from stretching many years before I started being sexually active.

MYTH #7: SEMAN IS LOW CARB

Seman is high in sugar, mostly fructose. Answers vary widely, but most sources say seman is somewhere between 5 - 25 calories per serving. However, a typical ejaculation—with an average volume of 3.4 ml—contains less than 1 calorie. Also, there is no known evidence that any change in your diet will make seman taste any better.

MYTH #8: OYSTERS ARE AN APHRODISIAC

There is absolutely no proof that oysters or any other food make you horny. Your mind is great at using the placebo effect; we hear that it works for other people, so our brain tricks our body into thinking that it does work.

Wouldn't that actually make it high carbs if it was just sugar?

Why is it so salty ?? Lol

I think people like to use this myth along with saying low calorie to get their partner to actually give them a blowjob and potentially swallow

Why is it so salty ?? Lol
There are over 50 different chemical compounds in seman including, but not limited to, neurotransmitters, endorphins, hormones and immunosuppressants. All those chemical compounds and the exact taste is dictated by the subtlest differences, which vary man-to-man, day-to-day. Super-sweet? That'll be the fructose. Salty? Excess sodium. Sharp-tasting? That's the citric acid. Metallic? zinc. Detergent? Blame the amines.

True story: on radio a guy was worry cause in the evening he fingered his girlfriend and didn't want her to be pregnant because he has ejaculated on his fingers ...... In the morning lol!
Advice, wash your hands piggy.

It is true that what you eat has an effect on how your seaman tastes. But there is no telling how much you need to eat or how it will effect. The popular myth that pineapple juice will make your seamen tells more fruity is also a myth since you cannot direct where sugars go in your body or how your body breaks down mono and poly saccharides.

I agree that it is all dependent on how each individual metabolizes their food. As with everything, each person will be different which is why I don't believe in most of what the medical field and nutritionists preach to everyone. There is never a "one size fits all" when it comes to these things. As for the semen, I think it may have more to do with something like the potassium or some other nutrient in pineapple as opposed to the fruity taste but that just my thoughts on it. I've been told it improves the taste and that certain other foods make it taste bitter but that's just second hand info and I don't know for sure. I would think the overall diet may have more to do with it than just one thing.

It is exactly the diet and not just one thing. All these guys who have pineapple to think it will taste sweeter are sadly mistaken and just another victim to the myth and or placebo effect

Here's one that really never gets discussed much and most men probably don't even realize because it has never happened to them. Male ejaculation and orgasm aren't always the same thing. Men can ejaculate without any of the physical euphoric feelings of orgasm. I know this because it has happened to me. I have also had some knee shaking orgasms during sex before ejaculation occurs. It is true, however that most men experience both at around the same time but just like our female counterparts, orgasm can be a fickle thing that does not always happen when we want it to.

Men can also learn to have multiple orgasms

MYTH #9: SEX CAN LOWER ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE

This theory has been debated for many years, with coaches often telling their athletes to abstain from sex before big games or competitions. According to CNN, the idea comes from Ancient Greece and traditional Chinese medicine, with the prevailing thought being that not having sex would help "increase frustration and aggression, and boost energy." However, recent research suggests sex has little impact on athletic performance—and could actually have a positive effect instead.

MYTH #10: HAVING SEX IN A HOT TUB PREVENTS PREGNANCY DUE TO THE HIGH TEMPERATURE

Many people believe that having sex in hot tubs is safe because the heat in a hot tub kills sperm. It is true that being in a hot tub for more than 30 minutes can slightly lower sperm count. But heated water temperatures do not lower the number of sperm to a “safe” amount. Even with a lowered sperm count, a man can still ejaculate 200 to 500 million healthy sperm, and it only takes one to fertilize an egg. Plus, the mixture of hot tub chemicals and heat can increase the chance of your condom breaking while having hot tub sex.

There is a huge difference between rape and assault. And men can get raped. They just do not report it as often as women do. And a lot of times women do not report it in fear of physical mental or psychological harm. According to the RAINN.org website, 1 out of every 71 men worldwide have been raped in the past year. (I apologize if my numbers are not 100 percent accurate) rape is pentetration of any kind and does not need to end in climax. Sexual assault is any unwarrented sexual touching. Grabbing the booty or the breasts even cat calling is sexual assault.

There is no correlation between a man's penis side and the size of any other body part. Size only matters to a male ego since the g spot is 5 cm (2 inch) inside the woman's vagina and usually the glans (the head) stimulates the g spot. While thrusting. So good news for all of you less than average guys out there. Also there is no way a penis can "hit the womb." when a girl says that, they are either boosting your ego or completely clueless about her own anatomy. That is for another lesson though
I'm glad that you brought this up. I don't understand why other men worry so much about the size of their penis. Or even their physical height. One's physical features cannot or can barely be changed. I think that too many people are worried about being accepted by others when the reality of their situation is (for the most part) that they haven't accepted themselves. Everyone is different. Some are tall, some short, some black, some white. How boring would a painting be if the canvas was painted one color. No shade, no variation. I think that people would be happier if they just accepted themselves the way they are and quit putting others down for being different. If someone makes fun of you, in an unplayful manner, for the way you look or the way you are then they don't care about you. So why should you care for their opinions? It's amazing how a life form, such as the homo sapien, that is considered to have exeptional "intelligence" struggles with the most simplest aspects of their own psychology.
