Well I would be a sexy and beautiful tall female robot with blood red hair or orange/blue hair and cool features like unusual colored eyes and I would also be a sex robot but a really smart one.
If i were a robot i'd remain as i am a short stubby legged webby toed creature. The only difference would be the constant low rumble of mechanical whirring and the need for fuel. (comes with battery charger)
I am not sure what you mean with this one. I was thinking more along the lines of a human's consciousness transfer into an artificial robotic chassis with a flesh exterior. Too specific? Too bad, its an idea I have for an upcoming novel. I've been researching the concept hence why that idea was foremost in my thinking. Ls x
Sorry, I got a bit Trekky! Seven of Nine is a Borg (kind of a hive mind entity) from one of the Star Trek series, more a play on words than Cyborg related. The Borg are cybernetically augmented, living creatures. I like your concept, it has a myriad of possibilities as to how that conciousness would cope with an artificial body.
I feel that it needs to be said their is a big difference between robot android and cyborg. Android can be made using any technology. It can be entirely artificial (like Star Trek's Data) or part biological (which makes it a cyborg). A robot is a generic term - anything can be arobot. All androids are robots.
I will not be surprised when we are made extinct by machines it is just nature. We somehow got smart from simple biological molecules and became self aware. So it isn’t a bad guess that they will do the same especially as we are actively looking to create more AI so its evolution is at a exponential rate compared to ours. Although it is just as likely to never become alive at all.
I would be an android like Data but of course with a proper working emotion chip and the ability to touch and feel things. Also, maybe have a normal skin colour as not to scare people.
UPDATE: The book is written. 1st months sales look promising. I've started the next one, a 17th cent political thriller. Ls x
I think I would be one of those clunky steam punk robots in Robot Wars, where they sort of flail around chaotically and crash into each other and clamber all over each other and smash everything up and go wrong and look funny but everybody loves them.
I would like to be one of those small, fast, sarcastic badass drones from Ian Banks "culture" novels.
