I don't know how I stumbled on this, but Indians are bashing China. Hard.

They dont like each other and there is disputed territory along their border.

There was a recent fight between the two. They agreed to not have guns in a certain area and the troops along the border went all cave man against eachother with rocks and all.

I believe there is a road or development in india that is near the disputed region.

TFI bashes China non-stop in all sorts of affairs, even global, not even involving India. lol

Are India and China at some sort of Cold War? This his fascinating (and probably serious).

Been kind of in a cold war for a long time, but it seemed to heat up a little recently. Maybe it is just because everything else in the world is kind of on hold something like this makes the news easier?

I donno, but I'm gonna watch all the TFI's videos. There's some comedic value in them.

The land they are disputing over is high up in the mountains and there is an agreement the soldiers need to battle without gun. But India and China have never been on the nicest of terms

The dispute is long and goes back from 1962 indo-sino war . I am from india so my perspective is more indian biased .so bear with me i ll share true and known facts from indian side . China has always been an agressor and has always asserted their dominion over northeast and ladakh region . Also tibet region is under chinese control . So recent development is china is building CPEC over POK a disputed region between india and pakistan . And further it claims varioue regions in ladakh ,uttarakhand ,sikkim and arunachal pradesh . Indo -sino boundary is referred as LAC (line of actual control) is not clearly demarcated . China doesnt accept British version of boundary and constantly tries to assert historical claims . Now that is historical development
We have had 2 wars with china
1- 1962war
2-1965 war
And numerous time clashes with each other . Oh yeah forgot to mention about chinese interest in bhutan and nepal . China is heavely investing their . Though bhutan is very close to indian side . Nepal has a govt that support china nepal relationship . That too is creating a very tense neighbourhood . Now recent china india clashes have escalated and no country is taking a back step or talking on table . Thats a serious development and i hope something concrete comes out of this and both country settle their land boundary dispute . Sorry for long post :D

No idea what's going on but i'm part Indian so.....rooting for India i guess?

China's "belt and road initiative". To build land and maritime based trade routes between Asia and Africa, India is in the way i guess.

@Akshay_horny - good summary, but it goes a lil further back. The boundaries between the two nations were made by British, post WW2, but never were formally agreed upon. (it is the same case of Islands in the South China Sea) And its madness since then. As in all battles, high places, glaciers, passes are important and the Himalayas are full of those.

Moreover, India's political asylum to Dalai Lama also never went well with China. DL has spoken and raised voice against the occupation of Tibet. And we know how speaking on that lines go.

To add to that China favours and supports Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and lately Nepal - via various means, that too creates loads of problem. The India-Pak relationship is world-famous, India - Sri Lanka though on non-confrontational status but China has influenced Sri Lanka and got a massive port.

China is looking forward to creating a "String of Pearls", so that they can counter the naval presence of western nations, as well as assert dominance in South East Asia Sea and the Indian Ocean. Sri Lanka, already on board, Mynamar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives and Somalia also on board. Port work is on most of these nations. This covers one of the worlds busiest maritime zone.
