Thoughts Neighborhood Q&A

@Dirkthedaring
Would you still like a girl if she was a foot taller than you?

What period in history had the best fashion?

What did you learn recently that changed the way you live?

What question have you always wanted to ask, but were too afraid of looking stupid?

Do You Like Staying In Or Going Out?

7 foot tall woman would be interesting lol I could sit on her shoulders at a concert I suppose...

The Roaring 20’s and also 60’s Beach attire

learned to always have a mask with me

I always look stupid so it don’t matter lmao

Going Out!!! Which is impossible in California rn

I'm so very lucky to have gotten to know you better. You are one of the most amazing, patient, kindest souls I've had the chance to meet. ❤️ In the same breath one of the most riskiest and ambitious too.

@Spykoinc what is something you're dying to try and do, but haven't yet?

Tbh I always wanted to jump out of an helicopter but never did. I've been telling myself I'd do it at my 50th parachute jump, so I still got about 15 jump left

I think I Robot, Foundation and The end of eternity... loved Fantastic Voyage... countless other short stories...

Favorite series would be Frank Herbert's Dune and the series... I think if you look there you will see the basis and template for 50% or more of all recent space fi movies...

And I still.giggle everytime a door opens on the old Enterprise...lol
Very cool. Foundation was my intro into Asimov and I was hooked from then on. I think it was still a trilogy when I picked it up. Maybe Foundation’s Edge was still new at the time. So now I’m dating myself.:)

Oh dear lord all of them…too broad indeed.

First favorite poet: A.A Milne -> Poem: Now we are six (which I was read when I was five and it left me in awe of all the possibility the rest of my life had in store…oh when I am six, I’ll be as clever as clever, and I think I’ll stay six forever and ever…is what five-year old me believed)

From there…Shel Silverstein, Dr Seuss, all the Williams…basically any poet whose name was William…Blake, Shakespeare, Carlos Williams…that list goes on a bit. The angry American… “I’ve seen the best of my generation fucked in the ass”… name’s gone out of my head. But his cadence was so exciting for me, I think the Beat poets were pretty awesome in general.
Milton. I read Paradise Lost aloud with a circle of friends during university…that was an intense experience, that really shifted my love of verse and poetry.
Eminem. His use of meter and cadence is also very Beatian I think, and I just love it.

Oh Poe… the more I think about this question the more I realize…I should probably have stopped at Milne.:D
Well I’m glad you didn’t stop! :) What a great story on reading Milne at age 5! And you certainly have the Williams covered. I actually have a little tale from my college days that connects Blake and beat poets. Will try to keep it brief.

I had the incredible fortune to see Allen Ginsberg perform a concert where he sang Songs of Innocence/Experience while playing an autoharp. It would have been easy to be critical of the performance (I was in late teen years after all) but I was totally blown away! Nurse’s Song was one that stood out for me. Ginsberg’s voice chanting ‘And all the hills echo-ed’ ringing through the concert hall just gave me chills. And here’s some icing on the already sweet cake. I was in a fiction and poetry student group and Ginsberg actually spoke at one of our meetings. So amazing! Too bad this was way before cell phones so I have no photos of the event. Just sweet memories. On second thought perhaps that’s better! :D

What is your favorite thing about your house?

If you went into a coma and woke up in the year 2120, what would be the first thing you would want to know?

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen a relative do?

What do you think about in the shower?

What do you do to deliberately impress others?

favorite thing about my house is beautiful views from every room and the moonlight that falls on my face when i sleep
first thing i would like to know that what is the trending food and will i be able to eat it or not
funniest thing was when my uncle was crying like a small baby moving his arms and legs like a small baby to cheer me up
in shower i think about how long i can stay in here without anyone calling me out or like what temp water is good for my skin or what to use on my body what homemade things i can use
i smile or try to just to do everything that person wants from me

@SweetLesGirl Who is the biggest jerk/bitch you’ve ever come across in your life and why?

@Heather What’s something you can’t believe people actually enjoy?

@Slopps What body parts do you check out on others first?

@Kbunny Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

@OnyxStorm What song or music would make even the worst jobs bearable to do?
Well for me Britney Spears music or Evanescence lol play that and I'll get through a crappy job.

@Slopps What body parts do you check out on others first?

First of all, I'm going to pretend to be upset, that I'm not vain an dthat personality matters more, etc.

Than, to reply to your question:
It depends on the mood and what catches my attention. Recently with all those face masks its defintively the eyes... Now a playful decolletée in the summer... Tights pants on a generous booty during slightly colder days... Ferocious hair waiving in winter wind... Anything can work, I'm easily distracted I guess... :p
