Makes sense! That sounds interesting flavor-wise. You got it for a good deal too! You like whiskey and coffee? That sounds awful, alcohol keeps me up all night and coffee with that would make sure i'd never sleep!

I love both. I roast my own coffee which is its own rabbit hole. Have been for maybe 3 years. I’ll post some pics at some point from what I’ve roasted this week.

But from a flavour attribute perspective between coffee and alcohol, acidity only applies to coffee for pleasantness. If your alcoholic drink tastes acidic then something might have gone wrong.

I'm not a huge coffee drinker, in fact I don't care for it. Drinking coffee and alcohol just means i'll stay up all night hahaha. You should make a coffee thread if you're that passionate about roasting your own coffee.

I recently tried something new called Southern Comfort whiskey. It tastes like cotton candy and was horrible ugh. Apparently it's Janice Joplin's favorite whiskey.
