Pernod is a favorite, also Lucid. I did like the one that was in the photo, but I can't recall the name of that brand.
Thank you, I am in a far better place, i have dips but have managed to keep more or less to my limits.
I do like a nice pint of Guinness now and then, usually in the summer. And if it is really warm, Smirnoff Ice. it just hits the spot.

Spicy, woody and some vanilla.Wow! How does it taste?
I bought my Yamakazi 12 year for about £50. It’s now an average £135 a bottle.
Spicy, woody and some vanilla.
The problem with whisky (or any other alcoholic) tasting notes is that I expect coffee cupping attributes.
I love both. I roast my own coffee which is its own rabbit hole. Have been for maybe 3 years. I’ll post some pics at some point from what I’ve roasted this week.Makes sense! That sounds interesting flavor-wise. You got it for a good deal too! You like whiskey and coffee? That sounds awful, alcohol keeps me up all night and coffee with that would make sure i'd never sleep!

But from a flavour attribute perspective between coffee and alcohol, acidity only applies to coffee for pleasantness. If your alcoholic drink tastes acidic then something might have gone wrong.
I’m an Aussie girl so gimme a bear or a bundaberg rum and coke
I'll be back when I'm off work...what will I drink![]()
