Thoughts Pretty words

So this is from a pretty emotional song from one of my favorite albums but I wanted to share...

"Oh great mercy, I am here to beg forgiveness for this mess.
I know I tore two worlds apart, but I can't change the way I felt.
Love swept in like a storm and ripped the hinges from the doors.
Love poured in like a flood, I couldn't stop it anymore.
I will not be, no I will not be drowned.
She said, "Lover come and hold me, I am terribly afraid.
While you're shouting at the stars, my scars are not fading away."
He said, "Darling, I was begging heaven make them disappear,
But see, I didn't get an answer or at least one I could hear.
Now I am thinking of the past and how we both said vows and lied.
And I am wondering how we trust ourselves to say a second time

Just a short on that just came up this morning

She is a true beauty like a wonderful night
She is like the amazing cloudless skies
She is the best of the dark and the bright
All this you see in her wonderful eyes
She is the one that makes the daylight
When the sky is grey and the sun denies
When you are down she makes it all right
She gives you a smile when you have the cries

Something I wrote a long time ago for my best friend in school.
He was my best friend than and she is still my best friend today.
I was 17 when I had a total crush on her, but we never went further unfortunately.
It was absolutely cruel for her in the 80th but still society isn't accepting.
I went with him and her all the way to become the wonderful woman that was always inside.

So this is for all the queer people here but mostly for my best friend in rl

She walks with grace, a beauty untold
Her spirit shines, more precious than gold
With courage strong, she walks her own path
Transcending boundaries, breaking societal norms in half

Her journey's not been easy, but still she smiles
Defying expectations, living life her own styles
Her courage to be true to herself, truly divine
A beauty both inside and out, forever shine

She's a rose in a garden, a beacon of light
In a world full of shadows, she shines so bright
Transgender, yet still the same, her soul unbroken
A true definition of beauty, words can never spoken

So here's to her, a woman so rare
A shining star in this world, beyond compare
May she always find love, peace, and bliss
A beautiful transgender woman, her journey truly is.

She knows who's this for. @Hervy

Even if we have never chatted or had a conversation.
But I love the way she treats her pack and how wonderful they all are.

A tigress named Hervy with a twist, oh so rare
With fur as orange as the brightest flare.

Her strength and grace unmatched by any other
She roams the jungle, a true boss of her timber.

But what sets her apart from all the rest
Is a secret that she keeps to herself at best.

For hidden beneath her coat so bright
Lies a secret that's hidden from sight.

She's a futa, a creature both fierce and free
With a power that's both rare and unique, you see.

Her femininity and masculinity in harmony
She's a tigress like no other, truly a rarity.

She hunts with grace, a predator in her own right
And with a roar that echoes through the night.

She's a symbol of strength, courage, and pride
And all who see her, are filled with awe and delight.

So here's to the tigress futa, a creature of the wild
A symbol of beauty, power, and grace, so mild.

May she roam free, forever and always
A true testament to the wonders of nature's ways.

Another one for the whole pack :)
@Hervy
@BadBabe77
@Vicki_Wolf
@BuxomBasil

A tigress futa, fierce and bold,
With stripes of orange, black and gold,
She roams the forests, free and wild,
With grace and power, like a child.

Her pack of wolves, all females too,
With fur of grey and eyes of blue,
They run beside her, loyal and true,
Their bond unbreakable, like morning dew.

Together they hunt and play and roam,
Their laughter echoing through the forest home,
They stand as one, against all foes,
Their courage unmatched, wherever they go.

But there's more to this pack, so rare,
Their love and trust, beyond compare,
They share their hearts, their joys, their fears,
A family bound by love, not by tears.

So here's to the tigress and her pack,
With strength and beauty, they never lack,
They roam the forests, free and proud,
Their bond unshakable, their love unbound.

This is so beautiful. One of the greatest gifts we can give is acceptance and support.
True love and friendship sees what is inside

She walks with grace, a vision so fair
With locks of red, she styles her hair
Her makeup flawless, a work of art
Her smile so warm, it steals the heart

She dances in the light, with a twirl so free
A beautiful crossdresser, wild and daring, she
Her dress flows like a river, soft and red
A sight to behold, and a joy to be seen

Her eyes are like gems, sparkling with life
A secret gleam, a hint of strife
For she knows, not all will understand
The beauty of her soul, the passion at hand

But she dances on, with a glint of pride
For she knows, she's beautiful, inside and outside
With a heart of gold, and a spirit so bold
She is a rose, blooming in the world so cold

And when the night comes, and the lights fade
She disappears, to the world where she's a shade
But she'll be back, with her head held high
The beautiful @CdJane, under the wonderful sky.

Dance the dance of macabre tempo.
Step out and back of blackened shadow.
Swirl around in teasful strides
As your partner moves along besides.

One, two, three and four.
Count your way across the floor.
Always moving, never still.
For of this dance you cannot spill.

Tempo quickens, stepping fast,
Now the worry, you may not last.
Panic rises from mounting fear,
For yet to dance is another year.

Dancing, dancing against your will
You chose to dance with the devil.

This is my sole ever attempt at anything that could be confused with poetry.
The thread did ask for 'our' poetry so in the interests of sticking to the topic, here it is.
Its a 'prophesy' from one of my early novels. I'm too wordy to make a good poet. :)

From hither abouts and whence anon
On darkened moon a goddess comes
To walk upon this land so fair
This land felt feet, e're ever felt air.

To walk this land e’re many a mile
To see, to touch, perchance to smile
The lights of the lands, bright in her hair
Pale of Gods hands, bid thee royal fair.

Once comes upon a breaking dawn
This child across the devil's spawn
On this child golden light did shine
Now awaken child for it is surely time.

Harken all, to the morning sun
The black reflects the warning sung
Awaken not her keepers red
Hearts, the demons fill with dread.

The demons number shall be three
And terrible will their vengeance be
Ask not of this goddess golden,
A Kingdom falls, a world beholding.

Forgive me for saying, but you should write more poetry if that is an example of what you can produce. Beautiful ❤️

Your music holds out its hand
and bids me, come and stand.
Easing my fears,
Drying my tears,
Lifting my shattered soul.

I was left, broken and in pain.
Never to dance nor ever sing again.
Then the soothing sound,
walked across the ground,
Of the place where my broken heart lay.

That was the most beautiful day,
When I heard the music you play.

Lost in sorrow, I wander alone,
With a broken heart, I've lost my home,
Once, I had someone, the love of my life,
But now she's gone, causing me strife.

Tears fall down, as I look to the sky,
Memories haunt me, as I start to cry,
I loved her deeply, with all of my heart,
But now we're apart, torn worlds apart.

But then a light in me, it starts to shine,
Will there be new hope, with a new love of mine,
Do I find another soulmate, who understands me whole,
With whom I can heal, and who will heal my soul.

We could laugh and dance, in the sunshine's warm,
With each other, we would never again be alone,
This new found love, could feel so right,
Bringing back joy and laughter to my life.

Though I'll never forget, the love that was lost,
It would with this new one, I'll weather the frost,
For my soulmate, she would become my new home,
And with her beside me, I'll never again roam.

The issue is, poetry is rather difficult to sell lest thee have a compilation of 50-100 included in a single publication. I dread to think how long it would take me to pen sufficient numbers of same.... I can easily pen 2 x 800 page novels (250,000 words) in a year but poetry, I've managed one in 10 years. :) I'd have long ago starved to death or suffered a equally heinous fate that of having to actually find gainful employment.

Also, notwithstanding is that one needs an inspiration worthy of being put into rhyming prose; story plots, I have no issues thinking up but poetry, sadly deficient as far as having any ideas worthy of jotting them down.

I do appreciate the compliment though, very kind.
