Please request you to restore the old chat

There are some 2,000 - 3,000 users at any given moment across entire chat, but there aren't several thousand posts from regulars stating that they prefer the old chat.
 
People didn't like the layout of every new chat and then started to prefer it, changing minds as new chats were rolled out. It's still the same people on the other end.
 
Hating the new chat, constantly losing chats, and can’t see some new messages even the message icon is showing there is a new pm
 
Performance will improve as development progresses. Need more users and more issue reports. This is the way.
 
Search for desired username in the user list/friend list, then add as a friend.

I know it works, because I've done it.
 
it s amazing that fcn really doesn t give a shit what most people want
guess they didn t like that there were more people on the old chat than the new so why not just shut down the old and force everyone to the new
now that fcn says OUR WAY OR THE HIGHWAY many will choose the highway and find another chat site
so much for THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE .... they are too dumb anyway right fcn

More people enjoy the new chat than you think. I have been moderating the new chat for a few months now and the only time I heard of people having a problem was when people could not go into the old chat and had to try the new chat.

There have been many forum threads about the new chat and asking what people wanted, I do not recollect seeing you on those threads giving constructive criticism.

i certainly hope that as a moderator you will stand firmly on the side of fcn and the new chat we all know what happens to moderators that don t toe the line don t we or should we ask stan if not promoting new chat is really a good idea
btw i never said that people didn t enjoy the new chat some more than others i just stated that fcn doesn t give a shit and i stand by my statement

It is kinda true, some of the really well put together criticisms I've seen on this forum discussion have been either ignored or given a robotic response with no real answer, which sucks because I'm genuinely okay with the new chat after getting used to it, however it's still so flawed, even for a "beta", having UI flaws and generally unwelcoming experience for anybody who never used the new chat at all. I really do want a better successor to old chat, but I feel like this might just feel like one of those bad movie sequels right now, no offense to people who like new chat >.>

Could you give examples of what criticism has gone ignored or given "robotic responses"?
 
Been a member for four years now. Not very active, but just killing time mostly. The new setup had the chat randomly jumping to the top of the chat, making reading/viewing anything nearly impossible.

Now to top it off, their system is claiming I have a VPN (have never had one) and has banned me from chats... No response from them on the appeal yet

VPN glitch should have been fixed. Those are not bans either, they're just connection blocks.

Is it still happening? Is it the same ISP you made this post on?

Is a different browser behaving the same with scrolling?

Alex_isxo's "location update" thread is an example as location sort of sudo-doxxes people, and the forced location makes the part of privacy a little less private, not really given a good answer to as to if it is a yes or no.

Bailey94's "question about icon color" thread hasn't even been acknowledged at all, and as a former "other gender", the grey feels slightly belittling.

I can label a fair few more major ones, but these are fairly minor things I do consider as fairly important imo.
