Programmes Everybody Else Raves About But Which You Dislike

Name a programme or programmes which other people like, yet you cannot abide.

My opening submissions are:

This Country - BBC

I hardly laughed at all - even the 'Tomato' joke could not save it for me. I appreciate that the show's writers put a lot of time and effort into it but it wasn't for me.

Derry Girls - Channel 4

Just too predictable for me. Could not get into it at all, the jokes were dated or just bland.

It's probably me getting older, but I long for the George Carlin, Peter Cook and David Chappelle type of comedy - edgy and which will push boundaries and challenge instead of being 'safe' or just bland.

What programmes do you dislike, but which other people rave about?

Comedy is pretty much dead on television. If Shakespeare had written Henry IV in 2018 it would be banned because it contains fat shaming of Falstaff.

I hate the character he plays with a passion but not him.. does that make sense?

I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with the episodes. We had the final here the other night but it was only 9 episodes... is that all there was or have they split the season here?
