This is something that came up from a personal experience and I've heard from some others that they face the same problem.
I would like the option to hide specific individuals from showing up in the userlist.
For example: I have certain people that I have fully ignored (room, whisper and PMs), but seeing their name in the userlist (especially in smaller rooms!) still puts a sour taste in my mouth and in some cases can even ruin my mood.

Here's what I'm thinking:
- Either if someone is fully ignored (Room, Whispers and PMs) make them not show up in the userlist
- Or give us the functionality we have with ignore rules on userlist filters. So that you could create a userlist filter rule "Do not show users that match the name <insert name here> in the userlist"

This is, ofcourse, just something that came up in my head but I'm always available to discuss possible solutions to this.

You can ignore users with specific or partially matching usernames. Use wildcards for partial matches. Example: if you ignore *pical, it'll ignore me and anybody ending with "pical."

I think you're completely missing the point. This isn't about how to ignore people. This is wanting a way to not have them show up in the userlist.
