Advice and Opinion Ask a Man

How quickly do you assess whether a person is the compatibility level you seek, and to be pursued for a romantic relationship?
And what attributes / actions make that clear to you?
I typically fall hard and fast, and it's a problem... But I've been working on being real and honest with my needs and wants. Trying not to favor one over the other, although the needs will always win out. When it comes to real compatibility and not surface level feelings, it could take months depending on how the conversations change and morph over time. Sometimes there is an almost instant click that continues to build. Sometimes it's a slow burn (which can be nice too).

When it comes to signs or attributes, I don't mince words, and I'd like to think I'm good at reading signs, but I'm not. I like being direct, and if I feel comfortable telling you about my past, a bit about my family and subsequent conversations turn into follow ups based on piqued curiosity... Then that's a good sign for me. Also a good sign, them being okay with my love for my family and friends. I feel like this is all just rambling... Sorry lol.

Have you moved on from your first love? If yes, how?
If she comes back in your life, will you give up everything to be with her again?
Moved on...long ago. If she showed up it'd be nice to see her again....but I wouldn't give up a single thing to get back with her...

fellas you’re offered a brilliant job at a brilliant company but your girlfriend works there. Wyd?

Personally I wouldn't take it. For one thing you'd be around each other all day and night and people usually need space from each other to keep things healthy. Secondly you know if anyone there gives her grief or comes on to her you'd be right up in their grill, so I'd say stick with your current job and stay happy.

Decades ago, but I still think of her occasionally. And she and I both gave up everything to get back together. And it didn't work out. I have yet to have another ex-relationship with someone who I'd give up everything to be with. But I like thinking it could happen.

Take it brother. If its a job at a good company, that will give you stability and allow you to live the kind of life you want, then it will only enhance your relationship. Plus daily lunch dates, leaving for home together are great benefits. Just agree to keep personal issues at home. And no looking at that hot secretary on the third floor. Lol jk. Good luck Alex.

Have you taken a razor to your family jewels? And if so, do you have tips for the other guys?
20 years or so now...you get used to it. Tips uh...don't shave the tip. For me all the scraggly hair there is the worst, I'm glad I started shaving it...and don't think I'll ever stop
