Ok ladies, it’s getting warmer here and that means summer tops and dresses. I have a few that are off the shoulder but haven’t been able to find a strapless bra that is comfy AND gives a little support.
There are so many types on the market now… have you found one that you love ? Or even just one that will do the job?
Thanks for your help xx

I would suggest purchasing several kinds, trying them on qnd posting pics of each one here so we can give you feedback. Also post braless pics so we can have a baseline. You can return any bras that we collectively deem do not flatter you.

Guys, vote on this idea by liking my post. Fingers crossed that peer pressure works.

I came here expecting some wise words about purchasing a bra and all I got was a pervy comment. You have been hanging around with @SweetLesGirl to much.

I'm a little different. I couldn't care less about comfort. I only care about a bra that gives me the support I need since my tits are so big. I go to plus size stores, particularly Torrid and Lane Bryant, all my bras are mostly strapless since I wear a lot of thin strapped dresses. But what I'd suggest is getting measured/fitted at a lingerie store if you don't know your fit and spending a little money on something nice. I don't know your size. If you're large or plus size i'd suggest not ordering from the stores I suggested since those are US stores and finding a plus size store in your country. It's something like 50% of women are wearing the wrong size bra (or something stupidly high) a tip, you're probably going to be uncomfortable anyway. Strapless bras are pretty uncomfortable, but honestly I don't go for comfort. I'd rather be very uncomfortable and have the support I need then be comfortable and have my tits sag and be very noticeably visible.

Thanks for your advice. I will definitely go to a store to try a few and guess I can put up with uncomfortable to be able to wear off your shoulder clothes.

You're welcome. If you had specific questions I could try to be more helpful. But I am not a bra size expert or anything. All I know what I personally like and tolerate. I used to be a waist trainer and realize my own comfort level greatly differs from most people's experiences.

Okay ladies I have a question. When purchasing a gift for a woman, would you prefer something YOU would like that I picked out knowing your taste. Or something I like and think what would look good on you?

I'm particularly picky about clothes and jewelry and I think if you're trying to buy me clothes or jewelry, you better at least have an extremely cocky attitude that you know what you're doing because I may end up hating it lol. I find most people don't understand my taste (including my friends) but I would appreciate the fact you bought me something and you tried even if I end up hating it. Honestly I probably would not wear something if you bought me something that was completely not my style that you liked, but if you were trying really hard to buy me something that you thought was what my taste was, I wouldn't be mad. I appreciate small gestures like this. My fashion aesthetic is very important to me and also I think buying stuff for me gets complicated too because i'm plus-sized and I think that would just confuse the poor dude trying to buy me something. But I think most of my dates learn to stay away from buying me clothes and jewelry unless it's something I specifically asked them to buy me. I think staying in what I like/my taste and my aesthetic is definitely better than what would look on me better according to you, answering your question.

My problem is I like comfort. I’m the person who plans to wear heels but 2 minutes after putting them on takes them off and changes into something comfortable. Haha

Well if it is a gift for me then I want it to be about me not you, so if you buy something you think would look good on me but I don’t already wear then chances are I don’t like it and that’s why I don’t already own it.
