Just got my ticket to see John Butler Trio ( going to get my hippie chick on and dance on the beach ) and made me think about other concerts I have seen.
Hard to pick the best but top 3:
INXS - first concert I went to Michael Hutchence's voice still makes my knees go weak.
Soundwave 2013- got to see Blink 182, Offspring, linkin Park and Metallica all on the same day and better yet got to see them all with my boy. Mother/ son bonding done right.
Every MatchBox20 / Rob Thomas concert I have been to. There music is the soundtrack to my life.

First was Donnington Monsters of Rock.

Whitesnake did the headline, but Aerosmith and Thunder were amazing.

Foo Fighters for most remembered, crowd sang Everlong without most of the band and it still gives me chills now.

Nothing beats the atmosphere at a concert, especially when your in the pit with all those other bodies.

Ozzfest '97: Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Pantera, Fear Factory, Type O Negative, Powerman 5000. Went with some food friends, had pit tickets, met some cool people, best concert ever.

I still haven't watched that show. I actually saw him in 94 at Lollapalooza but didn't know who he was, saw him years later locally after that.

Garth Brooks. He interacted with the crowd in a way I'd never experienced. I'd seen Reba McEntire, and it was more like watching a scripted show than a performance. She seemed more concerned with costume changes than what she was there for. Most every concert I've seen was more of a show - Garth's was a performance.

Have been thinking about other concerts and keep coming back to Pink. She puts on such an entertaining show. Love her music and her voice.

The Dresden Dolls with an opening from Mucca Pazza was probably my favorite concert. I love acts that interact with their fans on stage.
