I enjoy games that I can get really emotionally attached to the characters
I've enjoyed the Kingdom Hearts series because of just that, otherwise I'm obsessed with the Football Manager series and lost weeks of my life to it
If you like getting attached to characters, maybe try The Witcher, Uncharted or maybe The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild(The last one is if yo take your time to get to know the story by side quests).
hm maybe the open world concept aren't for you?Yeah the Uncharted games are awesome, I do own Breath of the Wild and The Witcher I can't get in to them though
