It's ways going to depend on genre choice. I'm a big fan of what is normally called God/Strategy games. I like the idea of slow build and resource management.

The original settlers was great for this. Black and White broke the mold on God games adding in extra elements.

I also like MMO. I have a Skyrim game that's well into 1k hours played.

i used to play the spyro games back when i was a kid all day my current favorites are games like nier automata and god eater speaking of strategy games crusader kings 2 is an absolute riot to play though i hardly even understand how i'm supposed to properly play it sadly i never managed to get in to skyrim something about it just felt off to me

I've done all the cod games and tbh bored with them, like lupine I like the strategy games like fall out 3 and currently fallout 4 which I love as you don't have to follow any route and building settlements. Not going to bother with fallout 76 yet, don't like idea of a snooty nosed 10 yo barging while I'm building and wrecking everything while sounding like a US marine using every swear word under the sun. That's why I don't go on line often.

that's the reason why i never play online games much too there's just too much screaming and crying and not enough actually playing the game now if i had irl friends to play with like i used to that would be an another thing but splitcreen co-op games are dead too so meh gonna stick to my jrpg's

Hmmm...

Sonic and Mario have to be my top two - can't separate them.

Zelda is also a classic and I have every FIFA game until 2018 (not getting the 2019 version as the reviews have not been favourable, especially Career Mode)

From my PC Collection:

Transport Tycoon, Sim City 2000, Championship/Football Manager up until 2018.

Building and then demolishing your city with disasters was always fun in simcity

Felt off? Might be all the glitches....hilarious....hilarious glitches.

Zelda, breath of the wild, Zelda the twilight princess, the Metroid games, super mario world, Zelda, ocarina of time, and Zelda majoras mask.

Hmmm.... lemme think

Monster Hunter World
Diablo 3 (dont judge)
Mass Effect (All)
Dragon Age (All)
Dragons Dogma
KOA Reckoning

those would be my top picks.
