Yesterday made me happy about politics in America. We still have a fucking wanna be facist in office, and a bunch of backwards thinking people running most of the government. But VA saw a openly trans woman take a state seat from a Repub who held it for 26 yrs, Charlotte elected it's first black mayor, NJ elected a Sikh mayor for the first time . VA and NJ elected Dems for govenor and Dems won state and local elections across the country . But let's not be naive and think it's the dawning of a new day. It is not True.mp is still in office, those backwards thinking people still run the government. But it does show people are voting their rejection of him , his supporters and what they stand for! It's great but don't be complacent, keep fighting , keep resisting ! And most of all come out in force fir the mid terms!
