Well it is here for a topic area so I though I be the first to post. Maybe this can be a little fun or have something come about. Climate change has been one of the most debated of environmental issues. What is your though on the subject?
first they let us have climate change, now they tell us we cant have it anymore and to forget it, I sometimes wish I was led a little more convincingly
Mother nature is self-healing. If one species is harming her, over time (It may take millennia) she will fight back to over come the harm being done. If she needs to change the environment to eliminate those that are harming her, she will. She has an ally we humans don't have, time. No matter what we humans do, she will overcome it and evolution will continue minus the planetary cancer called 'Humans'. It may take 100, 1000, 10,000 100,000 or 1,000,000 years, but she will win in the long run. Humans can either wake up or go the way of the dinosaurs. Mother nature doesn't care as she is here for the long haul and will simply evolve another species to fill the void left when the last human passes into oblivion.
Pretty much that, even though I don't personally enjoy looking at nature as a person. If we manage to be really super awesome though, we can outlive the earth. Earth only has 5-ish billion years until the sun goes red giant, we can go elsewhere. In theory.
'Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.” I love this quote by Arundathi Roy, I find is soothing amidst all the climate gloom that often leaves me feeling powerless
It would be funnier if something like 10 percent of people didn't think he's a journalist to be honest, but it's still pretty damn funny.
Global warming is a complete fallacy and if anyone believes it, they need to wean themselves off of medication/drugs because clearly their reasoning skills and common sense fail them.
