I like that - the way you put it - if you meant what I think you do.
It is good to have someone who wonders what you are up to - better to have someone who asks - it makes you feel that you matter.

That can be a very lonely feeling - somehow worse even than not having been noticed in the first place. Like when you feel you are the life and soul of the party but leave the room and when you come back everybody has moved on to someone else.
