So I’ve been using this site for some time. Had a user I was in DMs with and the person said they were underage. I simply said “I don’t talk with underage people” and was immediately banned. Obviously, I know I didn’t share, or ask for anything to cause real issues, but I submitted an appeal prior to seeing the forum rules about the appeal process. I didn’t get the user name as I was kicked immediately after sending the message “I don’t talk to underage people.” If I didn’t have access to the user name I was chatting with, am I pretty much banned forever? It would be fine, I just like the site, and am unclear on the appeal process length and whatnot. Thanks.

Sidenote, I learned today that there were forums. The forums are better than the chat. Hopefully, I can find out soon if I’m perma banned now. :/ Telling someone you don’t do something illegal gets a ban. Tough luck on my part.

Only answer there, is I am an idiot. I definitely should have. I’ve learned that lesson to just do that. But, I read through a lot of different posts, and it would appear that since I didn’t have all the information to attach to the appeal, that it’s a lost cause. Thank you for your reply, it’s most definitely added to my brain now to just report and move on.

Once you discover its illicit content, activity, user who shouldn't be on the Website in any manner, DISCONTINUE INTERACTING WITH THE CONTENT OR USER and report immediately. If a moderator is not present, you can always take a screenshot and show it to moderators at a later time.

Caution: For your own safety, do not store illicit images on your devices. Text is a different story.

Yes. I will do this. I just don’t know if I’ll get unbanned for it to matter? There were no images asked for or delivered by either party fwiw.

Ban mechanics or duration are not discussed. You'll just have to wait it out (unless an admin discovers something irredeemable captured by the system).
