Ground under you vanishes, but you don't fall. But you also can't move around, because there's obviously no surface to provide friction. The only way to move around is to grab onto walls (for some unexplained reason), because grabbing onto furniture or anything meant to stay on the ground just causes you to pull that thing towards you.
 
A body.

You're eating dinner and one of your slippers says "I'm hungry." The other slipper says, "yeah me too!" The first slipper then says, "yeah, feed us mother fucker!" Then they start trying to eat your feet, going "NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOMN NOM."
