Culinary Freya's baking thread

Most of the time I buy pre made pasty... yes you read that right. Even professional chefs have said they use it too.
I do have some baking beads tho, which I do use the rare occasion I do make my own pastry.

Well I think I was too anxious with my kids being loud! Lol I ended up using too much flour as I was kneading and rolling. The dough was getting hard and crumbly. I called my mom and she instructed me to use a little water but I decided just to make another batch to make up for the 1/4 of the original batch I botched. I actually put ear plugs in about half way through and it helped :D

Too much flour is a common mistake.
