Gratitude Jar

Today I am grateful for you starting this thread. This is a very healthy thing for everyone to stop and think about. Lack of gratefulness is the heart of self-centered thinking that is rampant today.

I am also very grateful for friends I have made in here. They know who they are, one in particular. It is refreshing to actually find kind, compassionate, fun and non-judging people ONLINE! Who would have thought it would be HERE!? To my friends I raise a glass, oh shit. Just dropped it. Can someone get me another glass?

I'm grateful for my pup, he was abandoned and in a state when we got him. He came along just months before a major loss in our lives and has helped with the healing process so much. He never leaves my side, even if he's angry with me he follows me around just to sit and glare at me. My kid had been asking for a dog called Buster for years and his name was already Buster so I think it's fate.

That's so awesome ❤ Very similar story with our dog!! Last owner that had her briefly used a different name for her but we switched it back to Josie, her original name. She was all sorts of anxious and ptsd for the first few months but now she's part of our crazy family

Today I'm grateful that I can get paid to stay home from work with a mostly mild head cold. Who else has time to hang out with their kids all day, make slightly ridiculous amounts of paper stars, and lounge around like a sloth? I love it.
