Gratitude Jar

I am thankful that life has taught me that there is no point in violence and senseless fighting. That when I let it go then my life is so much better and more peaceful. I am thankful that the experiences have taught me that people and word can only upset you if you allow it.

I am thankful that after years I can finally see the finish line from a distance. I'm grateful for the lessons I learned along the way and I'm grateful for the strength I gained from somewhere that carried me and brought me here. But I'm also proud to be able to look back and say I made it. I am enormously grateful that it made me wiser and stronger. Even though I did not understand the journey even though I still do not understand it, the most important thing is that I made it to here and for that I can never show enough gratitude.

@Jinxy you already know this but I am infinitely grateful to you who walked the path with me and still do even if you have to slapped me when I no longer wanted to and encouraged me when the will was lacking and who listened when I just spoke . You're just amazingly unique. I'm incredibly grateful your path crossed mine even though we've driving each other crazy.

I fell, I lost, I suffered loss, I splashed in muddy water but, I never stopped swimming, never stopped hoping, never stopped fighting. Life has a way of picking you up and throwing you around like tornados uprooting trees and blowing house to the ground but how you get up and go on after the storm is a choice you make. I have chose to make the best of the worst and use it as step stones to a better life better me better outlook on life. I have chose to tackle the mountain with a smile on my face. Today I look back with gratitude for where I was, I am thankful for the time life tornados have uprooted me because, thanks to that tornado, I have learned how strong I am and what I am capable of. Thanks to the most difficult time in my life, I developed into who I am today with heaps of willpower and discipline that I did not realize is possible. In a short time from now I will be standing right on top of that mountain and a flag of victory will be with me there. It makes me incredibly grateful to know I made it on my own but also with the encouragement of people who think and feel and do as I do but I did. This is cause for great gratitude.
