How do I know why I was banned?

I didn't do anything against the rules that I am aware of and I can still access new chat. I'm confused

The reason if one was given comes up when ur banned I believe not sure if it comes up when you try to go in the old chat

I must have missed it at the time so my appeal probably won't go through as i had very little info to put on it
