How far from Home?

South Africa. Little place called Steenberg. Did some charity work with kids, just me and my best friend, what a challenge. Helping to fight the stigma around female sanitary products! Cried a hell of a lot, laughed a hell of a lot. Loved every second. 15856 miles, round trip.

Regularly drive portsmouth to leeds and to Scotland

I used to be an IT Trainer. As the senior guy I did a lot of travel. I was so glad to leave the place and get a desk jockey job.

Roadside food can wear after a while.

I avoid those joints like the plague, am partial to a navy cooked breakfast though but they are not very often. Down to Portsmouth on tuesday to see a old friend.

So what's the furthest you've ever travelled away from home and why?

For me it's the Falkland Islands which is 12670 (7870 miles) from the UK. I was stationed there for 4 months in the 90s

Amazing place if a little out in the open. No tree's, but an amazing landscape..

Think the Falkland Islands is probably the furthest I've done too. We started from Gibraltar though so distance would have been slightly different. That was in 1982 and I never actually set foot on the islands. About a mile offshore was our closest.

So Jen & I had nicknames for everything. I would call her pussy "home" She fucken loved it and I loved when she would say "just come home, I just want you here at home with me"

So however far Heaven is then, Thats how far I am from home.
*kisses the sky*
