Daily weigh-ins can be so tempting, but it could leave you feeling unnecessarily deflated.
Weighing at different times, when bloated, needing the toilet, hormonal changes, can all nudge your weight up/down a considerable amount. You might find it more rewarding weighing once a week, same day, same time.
I never worry about weight gain. I rely on how I feel when looking in the mirror and ensuring I'm living a healthy lifestyle, mostly.
Every time I cook it, because I cook for more portions. Fun fact: day old reheated pasta has less calories.
Edit: During summer, once every few weeks and I freeze some portions. During winter I usually buy jars of sauce, although I don't often eat pasta.
