Request How to embed redgifs

Hi, I'm quite new and can't wrap my head around how to embed redgifs in forum. Here is an example of my failed attempts, had to resort to just a link:

I am not sure you can embed anything from redgifs on here without actually reposting the gif into a place like imgur. You don't literally take the code and "embed" the code in the forum. You take the actual link to the gif and use the image button when you make a post. Example:

(click the image button)

insert gif link it has to be a direct link to the gif or else it won't show up.
