I want to delete my account

On the forum hover the mouse over your username, click the delete my account button, log out then don't log back in and it will be deleted.
 
This isn't the case on how to delete accounts. The chat will send a deletion email also (to the account you signed up with) and then if you click that you will be redirected to chat and told that the account will still be active for another 24 hours and then 100% wiped from the system! I did that with this account on my cell and yet as you can see I have somehow after over 2 weeks of not coming onto chat hit a "bubble/tab of 6 most visited pages" trying to delete it and it brought me right back into this account! All signed in and everything! I have never cancelled the account deletion request and/or even been back until today after dealing with my deletion! Can you explain this one?!

There are people here that haven't been here forever and haven't seen those threads. You see this is why I'm looking to delete my account. Because people here, like you, can be so rude and nasty
 
Im sorry, i tried to delete my account, confirmed that by e-mail, it said "account will be deleted within 24 hours" i waited for few month, its still here.
What is wrong?
 
Probably because you now have multiple accounts and don't pay attention which ones you're using.
 
There's nothing to explain. The service is free and everything is already explained in the TOU.
 
I don't have multiple accts. Bullshit answer. Rude just like I said before
 
Excuse me everyone but there is a problem for sure, I tried to delete my account many times but every time I wait for a day or more and it is still there, I can restore it like was past only five minutes. I have tried all you had suggested, log out, delete cache etc, nothing works, now I don't want to bother you but probably I am missing something? Or there is something wrong also because it's full of people that says the account delection doesn't work. I propose another way, like it's done in many other forums that uses the same base as this, the life ban by user request. It's simple and it works, or try to fix this issue talking with the member of the staff that take care of technical stuff like this.
 
Deleting an account is same as changing password and forgetting it. Literally nothing happens except for loss of access to the ability to post or send/receive messages.

Just delete, log out and don't log back in.
 
So if I delete my account and wait for say one month and try to log back in it will be gone?

It won’t be gone. What the moderator just said basically admitted that FCN is lying to you and they never delete your account.

If you didn't create a female account as a dude, you wouldn't be having this problem.

Maximize privacy settings, disable all communication, delete, confirm, log out, clear cache/cookies so you're triggering something and leave.

The only thing account delete does is make your profile invisible to regular users. It doesn't delete your threads/posts/private messages. It does nothing else.

Self-deleted accounts eventually fall off. There's a HUGE LIST of successfully self-deleted accounts.
